A grandmother tells her three grandchildren the legend of children who set out to find the lost treasure of the Church of São José da Boa Morte. In their imagination, Pipa finds a map and begins the adventure with her friend Margareth. When Maga is bitten by a snake, Pipa must choose between continuing the search and helping her companion. In the end, the story reveals that the grandmother herself was Pipa and has returned to the place to rediscover the treasure.
